About the Collection:
FANTOM CROOKZ is a collection of 555 Crookz causing mayhem on the Fantom Opera blockchain! It is an art/pfp community-based project. To me, The CROOKZ is less of an NFT project, and more of a brand.
I wanted the traits and characteristics that make up the collection to be memorable and distinguishable. There are 17 main groups of traits, each containing different variations that become increasingly rare as you go down the list.
The game theory behind the collection is that although some CROOKZ will share some traits with each other, the layers of rarity is what gives your CROOK its value. Think of it like a funnel, or a pyramid. It becomes increasingly rare for multiple unique traits to belong to the same CROOK as the funnel gets smaller (odds decrease). For example, there are 389 CROOKZ with black eyes, 111 with red eyes and only 55 with white eyes. Every main trait is made up of sub-categories like this, with increasing rarity for each of them.
This aspect allows your CROOK to immediately stand out in terms of aesthetics and value, since every trait is designed to be memorable and eye-catching. I want others to look at your CROOK and pin point its value simply by looking at it, which is more or less possible with other collections, as most of them have no pre-determined hierarchy of trait rarity, which doesn’t make the value of each piece as obvious.
And yes, this means that every single trait in the collection, over 3000 individual traits have each been arranged by me, one by one!
